Day 2– Advanced Paediatric Dermatology

Aimed at anyone wanting more in-depth teaching or a refresher course in rarer and more serious conditions seen in primary, secondary and tertiary care.

Suitable for: Paediatricians, Dermatologists, GPs with a special interest, and Clinical Geneticists.

This day will focus on diagnosis, genetic basis of disease, new treatments and investigations, and practical guidelines for management.

Topics will include:

Congenital melanocytic naevi and their associations
Epidermal and connective tissue naevi and their associations
Immunobullous disorders
Infantile haemangiomas – update on management
Complex vascular malformations
Management of Harlequin ichthyosis and collodion baby
Epidermolysis Bullosa – update on therapies and management
Cutaneous signs of metabolic disease
Psoriasis in childhood
DNA repair defects
