Description:
This unique self-assessment course in Virtual Dermatopathology, begins with online presentation of 25 cases. Clinical data and photographs, digital microscopic slides and associated multiple-choice questions are presented through the software which enables participants to use their own computer as a microscope. The software allows for enlargement from low to higher power, as well as 360 degree rotation of slides. A review of key features of the cases, given by the international faculty in brief lectures, will follow. In addition the participants get hand-outs in pdf format, with the correct answers to the questions, discussion about the cases, and references. Participants must register for the course via e-mail, through information given on the EADV website. They will get a username and password, enabling them to practice using the software prior to their arrival.
